Free Taster Session Waiver (Latin Roots Dance Academy)

This waiver applies only to free taster sessions. It does not create any membership, payment plan, or recurring charges.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that Salsa and Bachata involve physical activity and carry a risk of injury (including slips, falls, physical contact, and muscle strain). I participate voluntarily and accept full responsibility for any risks involved.

Release of Liability

I release Latin Roots, its instructors, assistants, contractors, and venue partners from liability for any injuries, accidents, or illnesses arising from my participation, except where caused by gross negligence or unlawful acts.

Health & Fitness

I confirm that I am at least 18 years old and in suitable physical condition for light to moderate physical activity. Latin Roots is not responsible for assessing or managing my medical conditions.

Personal Belongings

I am responsible for my own personal belongings. Latin Roots is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

Photo & Video Notice

Photos and short video clips may be taken during the session to promote Latin Roots. These may appear on our website, social media, or promotional materials.

By attending, I understand that I may appear incidentally or as part of a group in this content. Latin Roots relies on legitimate interests as the legal basis for creating and using this material.

If I prefer not to appear in future recordings, I can inform an instructor at the start of the session. This applies to new recordings only and does not require Latin Roots to remove images or videos already published.

Conduct & Safety

I agree to follow instructor guidance, respect others, and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all participants.

By registering, I confirm that:

I have read and understood this waiver.

I am 18 or over.

I agree to these terms for the free taster session only.

I understand this does not authorize payments or create a membership.

A separate agreement applies if I choose to join the academy.
